The realisation of democracy and human rights in society can be promoted through democracy and human rights education. As an arena for this, vocational education and training has its own particular challenges, opportunities and good practices. This project focuses specifically on these. The project is executed from the perspective of staff and management, and it will be conducted over a period of 6 months.
Before the end of 2024, target educational institutions will be selected, institutional research permission will be applied for, and respondents will be recruited on a voluntary basis from the selected institutions. The study is carried out in the regions of Kainuu, Central Finland, Uusimaa and Southwest Finland. The interviews and a survey will be conducted in January-February 2025. The language of the interviews will be Finnish or Swedish, depending on the case.
