I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Community Education and I am currently making a Master’s degree in Youth Work and Youth Studies at the University of Tampere. My academic and professional background has focused primarily on issues related to unemployment, employment, service systems, and higher education.
At the Finnish Youth Research Society, I am involved in the EU-co-funded international CROSSWAY project, which uses a mixed-method approach to study issues related to the mental health of immigrant youth.
During my university internship, I have deepened my expertise in mental health services targeted at immigrants and collected data on organizations in Finland that work with immigrants and mental health.
