Requests for assesment to the Ethics Committee of Youth and Childhood Studies by 14 November 2023

The Ethics Committee of Youth and Childhood Studies operates under the auspices of the Finnish Youth Research Society. The committee’s next meeting will be held on 28 November 2023, and requests for assessment must be submitted according to the request instructions and using the electronic form by 14 November 2023.

The committee offers ethical assessments for researchers whose work is not covered by an ethics committee in their respective organisations. Researchers requesting a statement must be members of the Finnish Youth Research Society or the Finnish Society for Childhood Studies (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.).

Please note that all the requested documents should be attached to the request when submitted, as otherwise there may be delays due to the committee needing to request the missing data. Please follow the Instructions for requesting a statement.

Meeting schedule 2023

As a general rule, the Committee meets four times a year. The forthcoming meeting will be the last meeting in 2023. The first meeting in 2024 is expected to take place in February/March.
