Planetary youth research network seminar (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.) will take place physically and online on 17th and 18th March 2025 in the House of Science at Helsinki. The Planetary Youth Research Network is organizing a two-day seminar, which provides an opportunity to discuss topics, data and approaches related to the broad framework of planetary youth research (see Planetary Youth Research – Youth Research for more information) in a multidisciplinary setting, present working papers or try out a workshop (or other demo). Scientists from different fields, students, civic activists, youth professionals and artists (self-reliance is also an art!) are welcome to attend and contribute.

Nordic Youth Research Symposiums (NYRIS) 2024 – Youth in a Just and Fair World (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.). The working group Planetary youth research and young people’s climate emotions (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.) was led by Sofia Laine and well distinguished eco-emotions researcher Panu Pihkala. There were three sessions and 14 presentations on this theme.
