Well-being is a cross-cutting theme in the research of the Finnish Youth Research Society. We study topics that are familiar and recognised in society, as well as those that are silenced and marginalised. The aim of our research on young people’s wellbeing is to provide multifaceted information on young people’s lives and the social divisions that shape them, as well as on the everyday experiences and practices of young people and the adults who work with them. In the coming years, particular attention will be paid to the identification of risk situations, the development of services and online support for young people.
The thematic area is coordinated by Research Manager Tuuli Pitkänen.
